There are great opportunities for working in the IT industry, cross-cultural connections create diversity in the workplace and personal opportunities to travel abroad for projects is an added benefit.
These types of opportunities build character and develop knowledge and social skills. one of the the best ways to learn is to practice it and to practice it you need the environment, the IT industry mostly provides this opportunity.
Tips to help you get a job in the Tech industry:
1. The most obvious skill needed is technical skills, since the tech industry is always changing so do your research, and find out what you know and what more you need to learn. Technical writing - I didn't think it was a thing!! did you?

Technical writing is the complex technical information given to others in simple terms. What do you think?
2. Update your resume and keep up with the latest developments or upgrades you have developed technically.
3. Ask a connection how it is to work in a tech industry and the latest updates it has
4. Be open to the opportunities a person like you gets

Do you need to adapt to change if you belong in the IT field?
Organizational change can be demanding and may constitute a risk factor for employee health and well-being (Armenakis and Harris, 2009, Saksvik et al., 2007). Since organizations are growing at a fast pace it is constantly in-need forand on the outlook of adaptable people to join them.
The Type of change that is expected for those working in the IT field:
⮚ Short term relocation
⮚ Constant travel
⮚ New people to work with
⮚ Technological updates & knowledge gain
⮚ Culturally Diverse teams & clients to work with
Who though, should be directly responsible for initiating the change needed?
This current study therefore addresses the question: what factors can foster employee adjustment to change?
Can leaders today initiate the change needed? It depends on the resources they have, their teams, the knowledge they possess, their emotional regulation and their drive to support the people under them to become adaptable to change?
According to this perspective, people are intrinsically motivated to obtain, retain, and protect as well as accumulate their resources (Hobfoll, 2001).
